Overview

Ancient history, delicious cuisine, and a sprinkling of glamour provide a heady mix on this cruise between two historical cities in Turkey and Greece. Embarking in Istanbul for an overnight stay allows plenty of time to discover how East meets West on the banks of the River Bosphorus in this Turkish city at the edge of Europe and Asia. Next, we travel along the coast to Canakkale, the gateway to ancient Troy, and then sample the exciting culinary offerings of Thessaloniki in mainland Greece. As we travel along the shores of Greece, we encounter Volos, at the foot of Mount Pelion, the starting point for the mythological journey of Jason and the Argonauts. Next, we head for one of the ritziest Greek islands, beautiful Mykonos, before our final destination, Piraeus, the gateway to Athens.
